Dear families, I worked with many of the 4th graders when they were in 1st and 2nd grade. I am very excited to work with them again this year as the content lead for 4th grade. I will be working with the classroom teachers on a regular basis and offering small group instruction when needed. I am looking forward to seeing all the kids either through a Google Meet or in person soon!

About me… I have an undergraduate degree in social work from Bethel University and a Master’s of Elementary Education from the U of MN. I have been teaching for 22 years and at Laney for 14 of those years. I am married and have 2 boys that will be in college next fall. Henry will be a freshman at Gustavus College and Nathan will be a senior at the U of MN. I have a new puppy at my house named Sydney. I love coffee, all things chocolate, and reading mysteries. I can’t wait to see my students again!
