Hello! Welcome to Mrs. Luna's Magical Music Room! This is my ninth year teaching in public schools and my fourth year teaching for MPS! I am originally from Ellendale, North Dakota. It is a very little town of about 1,200 people in the south eastern part of the state. Other places I have lived are Aberdeen, South Dakota, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Asheville, North Carolina! 

I am so excited to be Lucy Laney's Music Specialist! My goal is to help my students to find the true joy that comes from music making and to become even better singers and instrument players than they already are!

Extra fun things to know about me are: 1) I actually held this alligator on a visit to Florida! 2) I raise and release monarch butterfiles during the summer! 3) My most favorite musicals and operas that I have performed in include "The Magic Flute" by W. A. Mozart, "Dialogues of the Carmelites" by Francis Poulenc, "West Side Story" by Leonard Bernstein, and "The Sound of Music" by Richard Rogers.   4) I have loved to sing for as long as I can remember. 5) I love playing on my piano and started taking lessons when I was seven years old - in the second grade!
