My name is Laura Ross. I am a special education teacher on the 5th grade team. We have been a full inclusion model since 2015/16. This means that through team teaching and collaboration, special education students are serviced within the general education setting as much as possible. Special education teachers, general education teachers and support staff all work together to provide the support that students need to be successful. The best part is that I get to know all the third graders!
I have been teaching for 34 years. I have always wanted to teach and remember as a little girl playing school with my neighborhood friends. I attended St. Cloud State University and received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education as well as University of St. Thomas where I recieved my Master of Science Degree in the area of Curriculum and Instruction.
My husband and I live in Andover with our 2 dogs and 2 cats. We have two adult children (daughters Kristen, 26 and Nicole, 22). I enjoy reading, gardening, Netflix, playing Bunco with my lady friends, fishing, and traveling to warm climates.
